Backpacker, Vegetarian Times and Yoga Journal Nominated as Best Magazines in Their Categories

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (March 12, 2007) -- Active Interest Media Inc. (AIM; www.aimmedia.com), the consumer enthusiast publisher, has received 12 Maggie Award nominations. The awards, given by the Western Publications Association, reflect excellence in magazine and online publishing in the western United States. Three AIM magazines -- Backpacker, Yoga Journal and Vegetarian Times -- have been recognized, each nominated as the best magazine in its respective category. Backpacker received five other nominations, and Yoga Journal four others. All nominations are in the consumer division except where noted.
