Active Interest Media Names Gary DeSanctis Vice President of Sales for Marine Group
and Co-Publisher of Yachts International
El Segundo, CA (June 10, 2010) -- Active Interest Media (AIM, www.aimmedia.com) today announced that Gary DeSanctis has been named Vice President of Sales for AIM's Marine Group and Co-Publisher of Yachts International. He was previously the President and Publisher of ShowBoats International.
Along with Yachts International, the number one selling luxury yacht magazine in the U.S., AIM's Marine Group also includes Show Management (www.showmanagement.com), a world leader in boat show production which includes the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the Yacht & Brokerage Show in Miami Beach, and the Palm Beach International Boat Show, three of the world's largest and most important in-water boat shows.

Prior to ShowBoats International, DeSanctis was Publisher and Vice President of Sales for Yachting and Motor Boating Magazines at Time Inc's Time4 Media division. Prior to that, he was advertising director for Yachting magazine.
He holds an AAS degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York.
